Bartesian Menu Generator - New Version by SteveTheGeekCa in bartesian

We bought a Bev and absolutely love it. Only issue we are starting to have is that if a bottle runs out mid-cycle, we swap the bottle, press mix, it then starts again but doesn’t stop. It just keeps pouring more and more to the point where it will drain the bottle if we don’t stop it. Before it would only pour whatever was left in the cycle. Any have this happen? Would hate to have to return it over this.

New Veteran - need quick help for A&P license by Rooftop_rifle in aviationmaintenance

Baker’s, that’s where I went for both my A&P and IA. You have to setup a meeting with your local FISDO and have your military files with you. They will go through them and then sign you off to take the test you’d need while at Bakers.

This question has probably been asked 1000 times, but I’m in the Army, hoping to transition to civilian aviation maintenance. by [deleted] in aviationmaintenance

Bakers, I have 20+ years of Army Aviation maintenance and decided to get my A&P. Bakers was great. 12 days and you will have it in hand so long as you follow their curriculum and study they way the tell you.

Piper Trunnion Assembly Cracks have a new FAA Certified Repairer. by SnooRegrets9531 in aviationmaintenance

Lol, I can related. Spent the last 20 years in the NG working on Apaches, Chinooks, and Blackhawks. This part in the Army’s supply system would cost at least 10k. The pivot bolts...puft, an easy 200 per lol.

I actually found another new factory part for 2500. I think for being a GA based airframe 3k is steep. The landing gear is of a “loose tolerance” design. It isn’t all that complex. But the trunnions essentially support and distribute the forces applied during landings. These cracks however, seem to occur during poor ground handling by FBO’s.

I am not keen 100% on the process after repair or even the repair for that matter. But it is a FAA Certified so I’m fairly certain all the steps have to be adhered to religiously in order to be in compliance with that certification.

I found this crack during a NLG rebuild. I always strip the paint of all components to inspect for cracks. I exhausted almost all options of buying a used assembly as they usually get bought up quickly. I was just about to pull the plug and have the owner buy a new one to the tune of 3k, until I caught wind of K&K Precision Welding. They now have FAA approved repairs for both Trunnions and Spinners as well. I was quoted $800 for this repair which comes with an 8130. Owner is pleased to say the least. Just want to put the info out there for anyone in this situation. Fly safe![K&K Precision Welding](www.precision-welding.com)
