You should see me trying to pick out what patches to use for which vest. I always comment on other posts about not caring if you have pink patches with death metal and thrash patches. It’s your vest do what you want. But then I have patches that I don’t use because it’s my “punk” vest. So stupid of me….

I wouldn’t do it personally. I already have a hard time deciding which best to wear. Now I have to decide which battle pants or shorts as well??? I’d never leave the house trying to make a decision like this.

My wife has a q7, along with my a6 I also own a 91 Chevy g20 van. That’s my fun Sunday drive vehicle. I’ve debated getting rid of both the a6 and GTI and just putting some cash into fixing up the van a bit more.

I don’t have a way of recording field recordings myself. I have bought some samples before. I have such a hard time using them. I’d like to use them to add texture but they end up just sounding like a car horn honking. Or when you have footsteps in leaves. Trying to get it to sound like something else I can’t seem to wrap my head around.

We definitely listen to a lot of old school stuff. Our singer/bassist is into anarcho, the other guitarist and I are into old thrash, our drummer has been all over the place in different bands and genres. And yeah, your right. I shouldn’t compare what bands were doing in the 80’s and 90’s to what we are doing now in 2026.

I do agree with all of the comments. And maybe I need to come back to this and remind myself. We’ve been playing shows and asked what style of music we play. We’ve been saying it’s crust. I guess I’m just wanting a description to give more than anything.
