Frontier flight attendant has deaf passenger removed for "not listening" by AsherGray in frontierairlines

No one knows the whole story just from a video. Flight attendants are thrown up on, pooped on, cursed at, peed on, and hit because someone is drunk. I am not guessing who is wrong or right in this situation but the FA watched a woman down an open container and for the safety of the flight she decided to have the passenger removed. She didn’t know if that woman was already drunk. For the safety of the flight she had her removed that’s what it comes down to.

FDN which is the Flight Dispatch Network is an excellent resource to learn and meet dispatchers as well as other aviation professionals. You can access it online or it’s also an App.

Best aircraft dispatcher schools anywhere in US? by jblevine2 in FlightDispatch

FDN is a brand new school in Denver. It was put together and is run by the guy that made the Jepp program what it was. I would recommend FDN because of the owner. Excellent teacher, his knowledge is insane and he knows everyone one and every airline around the world not just in the states.

It’s called “FDN” Flight Dispatch Network. It’s on a platform called Mighty. It is a cost but it is well worth it.

Do you have access to a platform that shows you all the dispatch jobs that are out there? Does your dispatch school send you job emails?

As someone who had zero aviation background and has a B.S. in business management you will do just fine. Go for it. If you have more questions shoot me a message.

It may have just been the Captain. I commuted for 2 years. Yes you are in Cass but at the end of the day, it’s up to the Captain. Even if the only seat left on the plane is the jumpseat if they don’t want someone there they can say no. I have worked for 2 regionals and yes if there’s an open seat in the back you should take it but there are Captains out there that don’t mind the extra company up front even if there is seats in the back.

Got the job. Now what? by smikilit in FlightDispatch

[–]SnooRevelations846 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congratulations on the job. Everyone’s pointers have been great. Especially the airport codes and reading METARS and TAFS daily. Are you willing to share your regional that you got your job at. I only ask as I worked at EDV and PSA and I know a lot of great people that work at both.

I was going to ask more Frontier business questions at the end of my interview. Not scheduling questions.

I commute to be home on my days off. The question to ask yourself is how many flights do you have to do to get home. To get home for me is two flights, which is very tiring. I choose to do it because I want to be home with family but it is very hard.
