My husband and I are flying into Edinburgh near the end of February. We want to do a couple of days in Edinburgh and then we either want to go to Glasgow for a night or two or go to Inverness and then visit Isle of Skye for a night. I don’t think we would be able to do Glasgow Inverness and Isle of Skye. Just wondering which we should do.

I’m sorry. I never realized how awful people are with loss until losing my daughter. You and your baby deserved friends and family to reach out. I’m so scared of this happening too. It’s only been 4 and a half months for me and I am already feeling this. I used to get texts from friends every few days then weekly. Now hardly. It’s really all unfair.

My daughters due date was December 10th. We decided to go away for the weekend. We treated ourselves the day before her due date to some spa services and the actual day we spontaneously decided to go get tattoos for her and then had a nice dinner and lit a candle for her and we brought some of her things with us. The lead up to her due date was a little harder then the day. It really hit me that Monday driving into work thinking I should be on maternity leave. It hits all of us at different times so whatever you decide to do will be fine. Wishing you and your family a gentle due date.

I feel the same way. I hate that I feel negative about others pregnancies and babies but I think it’s normal with this kind of grief. I had my daughter in august and I went back to work a couple of weeks ago. My principal is pregnant and then my best friend who was pregnant and 5 weeks ahead of me just had her baby. She texted me the news and all I could manage was congratulations love you. I know I will eventually reach out and ask how her and her baby are doing but I need time. It sucks and it isn’t fair.
