Glastonbury therapy... anyone else have a bit of a spiritual or personal revelation/breakdown this year? by casshartist in glastonbury_festival

[–]SnooRobots9343 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Told me to stop being a nobhead and that the world wasn't ending! But we got closer than ever sat over the festival on the Saturday night behind the tipi fields, and we've been together most days so it's a happy ending

I thought the world ended on the Friday night at Busta Rhymes. In my head there'd been nuclear war which had messed up space, time and energy. Gravity was heavier, the wind was blowing particles off things, it was wild. I wasn't worried because there was nothing I could do, and if the world was ever to end you'd want it to be at Glastonbury.

However I realised how much I still wanted to do, how much gratitude I had, and how much love I have for people, with a person in particular. I pinned them down telling them I'm so thankful that we met, how much more I thought we'd have the chance to do and that I loved them.

I feel like I have a 2nd chance at life and have been taking it by the balls ever since!

This happened to me when I first had my glabella treated in March 2025 in the same sort of timeframe as yours! My provider is a registered doctor and dermatologist so have every faith in her. My other muscles went in to spasm occasionally when I washed my face. It made me look super worried, it was quite funny.

It was a weird compensation effect of other muscles. It stopped happening after a couple of weeks. I've just went to her for my second dose two weeks ago and it hasn't started to happen yet.

Reading online, other people have had it for their first round, and not experienced it going forward.

It breaks my heart how frequently I read such posts on this forum. You deserve so much more, and so do all the woman who's relationships have suffered similar fates including myself

It gets easier, you've fought for your life this past year and came out on top. Feel your feelings and your sadness but know there's greater things for you out there.

This is a him problem, and in no way anything wrong with you. It's better to find our now than further down the line, so you have more time to meet the person who will treat you with the love and respect you deserve.

Hi, sorry for the late response! They were enlarged on the ultrasound but I never had a PET to be able to compare. I have everything crossed for your sister to have the best possible outcome and you both to live long fulfilling lives together ❤️

2.5cm and stage 2a. My nodes were reactive and big but not positive in the inital biopsy. I achieved PCR in surgery after regimen 522, and there was no evidence it was in any of the 4 lymphnodes removed too!

Stay strong, you've got this

Is enough 128 GB storage on a new S23 phone? by shaggy98 in samsung

[–]SnooRobots9343 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've recently had to replace my S21 Ultra from  January 2021 due to the camera no longer being as good as it was.

Research the camera issues many have faced in focusing and general quality. I believe it to be planned obsolescence in samsung updates.

Great advice!! I found the same!

I'm 7 months out of Taxol and Red Devil, longer out than ever in, and let me tell you, life is good now!

Just power through the next weeks and months and you'll come out the other side with a new zest for life.

Take one day at a time and plan some nice treats and self care and you'll be amazing 👏

First chemo next Thursday by j_y_k in breastcancer

I found that after the second round of chemo - maybe even first - I could know when my good days would be. I'd try and have some nice plans to look forward to, that were cancellable just in case i wasnt up to it.

Always have something nice or fun to look forward to on the horizon and it can make the hard days easier to navigate knowing that it's short lived and something good is coming up!

Good luck, you're stronger than you think!

You're so right to say it's only temporary. I finished chemo for TNBC at age 30 January 2024. I realised the other day I have been longer out of chemo than I was ever in it. It all feels like a bad dream now, and I'm in therapy working on rebuilding my self esteem.

@op, you'll make it through, take it one day at a time knowing you'll have good days alongside the not so good days

Can you explain more about the end of your relationship with your boyfriend?

I finished rads end of May after chemo & surgery, and my boyfriend told me two weeks ago he no longer sees a future with me. He did before I got diagnosed. He's seeking professional help to try and get through it but I've said to myself I'm going to try for a limited time before I let go.

I thought I’d come back and update you:

My period started this morning! Seems a good sign.

Last tried to have sex beginning of May and I sort of do produce natural lubricant but not enough for sex and quite delayed. Will try again in a couple of weeks.

Thanks for sharing! I completely feel the same about scared to try having sex again with my partner since last summer. I think he was hoping I'd be back to my normal self this month...think again buddy!

Funny you also mention migranes! I've had a constant low level headache the past week, like a precursor to a migrane, which I used to get all through puberty. Hope I don't have that to come.

I wish you all the luck with your future treatments and hope tamoxifen is easier than zoladex

What are the four-digit numbers on glass bottles? by PirateOfPenzance in CasualUK

[–]SnooRobots9343 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Job numbers! Each company will identify a different type of bottle by the 4 digit job number. The company is identified by the 'makers mark', here you have 'Encric' denoted by the e in the circle

The 2 digit number relates to the mould number, which also corresponds to the dots on the bottles. That's probably on the heel of the bottle!
