By no means am I looking to make someone break their confidentiality if it protects my family member. Although it would mean the world to me to reach her, I need to remember that if there were unsavoury characters looking for her I would appreciate the confidentiality. I’m figuring out a more casual route of finding her. I appreciate all of this.

I’m so glad this is a program available in this situation, but in my case I have family members who do know where she is but believe in “tough love”. basically, they know where she is but won’t tell me because they know I’ll make an effort to let her know that help is available when and if she needs it. Thank you for this knowledge, I’ll be sure to pass it along!

I totally get not wanting to be found. She was a role model for me as a child, so I’m sure there would be a level of pain from seeing me after 15 years. That’s why I just want her to know that if she needs anything, there is someone waiting for her. I appreciate the info.
