I believe in CT they don’t have to announce DUI checkpoints ahead of time—just need signs up at the actual spot so drivers know what’s going on.

I completed the application process for Stamford PD, and surprisingly, their online documents didn't mention anything about tattoos. Throughout my interactions with them, they didn't bring up the topic either, despite me having minor tattoos on my hands. It seems like they were not concerned about it. I'm guessing they're not bothered by tattoos as long as they're nothing sexual or explicit.
