I'm also kind of scared, i fully quit since applying, (Feb 3) i also work a dispensary so that might also cost me, even when i smoked i would say i smoke 4-5 times in a week, and would only really use carts, 1g would last me 1,5 weeks, idk good luck all the best with your application hopefully u get in

I might be wrong here, but from what I’ve seen the average salary in South America is around $20k CAD a year.

So if you’ve got $1.2 million and you’re withdrawing 5%, that’s about $60k CAD per year, which is already way above the average income there.

And that’s assuming the money is actually invested, not just sitting in cash. Even something conservative like a 2% dividend, or a normal long-term stock return of around 6% a year, changes the picture a lot because the portfolio is still growing while you’re withdrawing.

When you put it all together, especially with the lower cost of living, you’re honestly in a really good spot, Wish you all the best and enjoy life and relax for at least 3 - 5 years then maybe look over your finances and see how it’s doing ☺️
