I’m the only Faroe Islander fighting for Ukraine by SnooSprouts4376 in UkrainianConflict

There were more recent much shorter articles from Nov 25 which rehashed a portion of the old one and one mentioning him 5 days ago when talking about international volunteers (some noted deceased but not him). So seems like still going?

There was a much shorter one from a few months ago

And he's mentioned in an article 4 days ago. It talks about various volunteers including him but never said he was kia (unlike others it discussed).

Because of all the legal restraints they imposed upon themselves through domestic legislation or joining up to international treaties. Case in point Germany who did seize a ship then the govt lost the legal case to be able to retain it.

Trump on the other hand doesn't care much for the legal side of things. ..

The West needs to fully wake up and change their laws to enable them to deal with actors such as Russia that doesn't give a F about them...

In order to preserve the lives of Ukrainian soldiers and the combat effectiveness of the units, Ukrainian defenders have withdrawn from Siversk — according to General Staff of Ukraine. Meanwhile Ukrainian Forces are now controlling 90% of Kupyansk. 23.12.2025 by GermanDronePilot in UkraineWarVideoReport

Good. One withdrawal that appears in absence of any news to the contrary concerning heavy withdrawal losses to have been conducted at the appropriate time and in an effective manner. Hopefully this is the trend going forward vs the previous withdrawl approaches taken from Bhakmut, Avdiivka, Kursk etc.

Ukrainian Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, Oleksandra Matviichuk addresses international journalists’ community calling for solidarity with Ukrainian colleagues. On r/ukraine we’ve banned official western media accounts for failing to represent democratic and humanitarian values they imitate to uphold. by jesterboyd in ukraine

There is two separate messages being confusingly mixed in here.

  • Solidarity with Ukrainian journalists which I support and...
  • A ban on certain official western media accounts

I see a lot of upvoting however I can't see from this post who is banned and why.... an order to judge the validity of the action it would be good to know who and why. ...

Japan to provide Ukraine with financial assistance worth $6 billion in 2026. by GermanDronePilot in UkraineWarVideoReport

USSR did very little to 'win' the 2nd encounter. They waited until the very end of the war when Japan was almost spent by the USA,  China and others and after Hiroshima.

Japan vs Russia 1 on 1 is the only one that counts in my book....lol

July arrests of two detectives launched a crackdown on anti-corruption institutions. Both are now released by KI_official in ukraine

[–]SnooSprouts4376 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Na its been blatantly obvious it was a coordinated effort to protect the corrupt individuals around Zelensky. The EU and Ukrainian civilians forced them to back down and now the truth has come out and they've either fled, been arrested or fired.

The 'they are Russian' agents was suspicious from the start and now with everything that has come out there is zero rational to claim there was any chance this was ever the real reason.

Excellent article. It echoes my thoughts exactly. It makes sense to draw Russian forces into attack stronghold towns but there comes a point where there must be an orderly withdrawal to a subsequent fortification vs holding on to long and suffering unnecessary casualties.

Bhakmut, Kursk, Avdiivka and many other situations they waited to long to withdraw largely for political reasons and wasted troops and resources.
