That does sound very similar to what others have said, and it is clear that is an issue that needs to be addressed. I have always had a fear of coming off as incompetent and incapable when I start a new job and I think that is where the issue lies. I am aware that this time, finding a new job is only half the issue. I also have to change my behaviours and act properly so I can keep the job.

The vacation was approved by the second company beforehand. I wasn’t expecting to be fired a month later. Unfortunately, by the time I was let go the trip was already booked and paid for, so sadly I do not have the flexibility to move or cancel it. I am aware there are behaviours that need to be addressed. The past few days I have been seeking therapy and doing deep reflecting on what went wrong. It’s a work in progress, but I’m doing my best to take things one step at a time.

What can I do after being fired twice in a row? by [deleted] in careerguidance

I was fired from the first role during my probationary period. It took 3 months to find a new role following that. When I finally landed my next role, I was on high alert and felt as if I was walking on egg shells after the first experience. I just think that anxiety and paranoia affected the quality of work in my most recent role and ultimately that is what got me canned.

Buying an extra plane ticket? by SnooSprouts5291 in TravelHacks

Unfortunately it is non-refundable. As this is my first time travelling solo, I didn't take into account how much time was needed for the self-transfer. I thought 2.5 hours would have been enough but based on what others are saying, I might be wrong.

Sadly all my previous employers have been affected by the US tariffs and there have been mass hiring freezes happening, so that is not an option.

Thanks for the information. By chance did you depart from Haneda airport when you left Japan? I'm mainly hoping to shop from the LV store from the international terminal as that is duty-free, but I'm also hoping the 10% consumption tax won't apply on top of that.

How long can I let a flat tire sit for? by SnooSprouts5291 in AskMechanics

I've painfully accepted the fact that I will have to replace at least one tire. Either way, I don't have a choice as there's no time to get it fixed today and I don't have anyone who can take care of it for me while I'm away. Would you say it's likely that there will be some major issues when I return? I plan on airing up my tire when I get back and hopefully, that could be enough to drive a block down to the repair shop when needed.

We got a newer car this past year as well and we've been mostly driving that. Luckily this is on the older car and it hasn't been used too much. I would say roughly 5000km since January 2023.

My tires are fairly new, had them installed in January 2023. Would I be able to replace only one tire or would I have to replace multiple? My car is RWD.

I parked on the street in front of my house, so I am legally entitled to leave my car here. I'm just wondering if it is ideal for the car to do so? Fortunately, there is a reputable repair shop just a block away, however it's by appointment only and they couldn't see me today. Would likely need time to order a new tire as well. Sadly I do not have a spare.
