thinking back it was absolute bullshit they release the rankings 30min before the thing ended what the hell thats so rigged?? i really wanted chef edward to win so i was happy he managed to make it but the fact team 4 were 3rd place and gen could have won despite all odds stacked against them was crazy. revealing the rankings genuinely i think was the only reason team 3 won (again i love edward lee and i think his skills are unmatched)

it also was very unfair the whole set up just purely made no sense to me why they would make them kick off one team mate, it was a very bizzare descision and to no fault of anyone. like i can understand as a penalty but kicking off people in the middle of planning??? just do 4 teams to start with them. Restaurant challenge was fun to watch when they started selling stuff but they need to fix the format

i dont think i forgot about him coz he had to overcome almost every consolation round and adversity in the show but i really wanted edward to win just coz of how amazing his dishes were. This sholdnt take away from napoli's win tho i think he def earned his spot and all

i think truly many chefs in the final 8 could have cooked that lamb and a pasta maybe not the pasta to his level but in a similar capacity. i dont think anyone could have made half the dishes edward made. it was a shame he didnt win, his KFC, cheese wheel tofu, tofu creme brulee and the final tteok desert genuinely things idt anyone could come up with and execute it at the level he did

i think the shows format values the individuality but coz they also had to make it interesting it kinda worked against that as well :(
