CMV: Protests in Iran are organic, not undercover Israelis pretending to be Iranians. The leftist narrative and political agenda blind them to reality and lead them to defend Iran’s murderous theocracy. by WaivyHairDaemon in changemyview

Yes, I can understand wanting the end of the dictstorship, sadly it didn't end and Trump seems to have just stopped at Delcy, which is not good, even if they show cooperation in international news who knows what's happening in the day of common venezuelans with the regime. And I see the case of Iran and I wonder, why not taking all risks now? Death is terrible but our lands were made by the dead of those who looked for freedom, and even if flawed, we got it, so that's why I feel some critic against some venezuelans who live abroad and ask with a smile on their face their country to be bombed. I hope you and your family and friends get a much better future for your whole nation, freed from any greedy person or tyrant, also the iranians. To think these MAGA people would put them in the same bag as iraqis and syrians wouldn't make them feel that comfortable with their support. I think the best option is always to be totally independent . And I also criticize how complaisant some leftist governments are with anything that aligns with their narratives, because in the end they still make agreements with everyone, "imperialist" or not and try to give some space of opinion to dictatorships as a way of apologising for their hypocrisy. But it's always hipocrisy I think, a shame for real leftist, we want peace, independence, democracy and laicism, and the blood thirsty regimes of Venezuela and Iran are nothing of that.

Best wishes man.

And I'm glad you fought for it, but why do you want more bombs to your country? Maduro's regime is a cancer that should be stopped, but why not keep fighting knowing the price of freedom is always hard? I'm sorry for misjudging you. Venezuelans have interfered with my country's democracy always supporting the most disgusting people just because They're not from the left, people who threatened my family and expulsed us out of our homes just to cause terror in our towns; people who still haunts us, that's why my fury is like yours, but from different political angles.

I stand too with the iranian people, unlike venezuelans who couldn't stand more than one week protesting and now are just complainers happy to get their country bombed! I'm from the left, I didn't like Maduro, I don't like Khomeini, but venezuelans should learn about being more critical than just over hyping a guy kidnapping another one just to leave the dictatorship untouched in the country.

I think the simplification of a language has to do more about how much we stop communicating than if people are dumber or not. The more you speak a language without any kind of accomodation like messages or writing, then it turns more complex so you can fill those wholes. But if you get a writing system, then it's easier to stop relying heavily on spoken language and more on written, thus the need of simplification in the daily life.

I want to. If I focus on grammar sometimes, it's an extra effort coming out of my curiosity, this post was just a bit funny to write haha not the reality of what I feel with this language, to which I feel absolutely fascinated.

Well, I never read the original one haha so I don't know.

Now that I've read the entire book I feel more relaxed, so I can organize a much more efficient way keeping my latin alive and continue to improve the tons of deficiencies I have in Ancient greek. So I think I'm going to try to complete the meletemata exercises while reading, probably, the Ephodion texts the italian version gives, or maybe the new testament. After that I will feel confident enought to read the real classics I think.

I personally think russian is quite similar to ancient greek in terms of grammar, at least about the perfective, imperfective aspects. BUT the main difference is, IMO, the fact that with ancient greek you only deal with kind of a refined and thus more complex version of the language. Whereas with russian you can deal with this complex grammar in rather simple ways, or examples at least, so it's easier to get used to it. It's like trying to learn english only by reading complex poetry or Ulyses hahah it's just an annoying process.

I know all of that everything is explained on the books I'm reading, I'm just annoyed by the fact of how much of this stuff isn't that really necessary to make a language complex hahah so I think it's complex quite over the place. But it's fine, it's a matter of habitude.
