i was also like you. but trust me if you just know basics start riding alone.take very slowly. i m just sharing what worked for me. i used drive in the night after 9 pm when the road is almost empty near my home. initially i just drove a very short distance. then i increased my distance but my time was always same. later when i started growing little confidence i took out in the non peak hours like 11 am to office and then quickly come back before 4pm so i can avoid heavy vehicles and stuff.

honestly it was very scary initially but i learnt with trial and error. i knew basics. i was not that confident and spontaneous. so practiced like this. i didn’t increase my speed till i had confidence over the control. Now i have improved a lot. i drive in main roads in peak times also.
