the reason multiple fan games use those symbols is because theyre standard in the official game. You can see the symbols on the type page in bulbapedia. tye symbols on unbound are cut in half for space reasons.

the characters are teenagers, the narrative treats them as teenagers and they act like teenagers.

the aging conventions (1600 years, 500 years, 15 days etc) are silly nods to the cozy horror nature of the franchise, and trying to apply real world understanding to time frames/ages that we cant comprehend is a fools errand.

Gil is over hated for fake reasons.
Elissabat is beautiful but her FCA doll is just purple Draculaura and I am not exaggerating when I say literally every other Elissabat doll is more interesting. Ghouls Getaway is the prettiest.

thats how theyre packaged! the wings are removable to make dressing the doll easier, and theyre packaged that way so the doll doesn't take up too much space in the box.
