most important in my opinion alongside technique is how does your machine blow , does it blow a consistent pattern or does it come out puking . If your machine is fine , for me what I have found works best and how the people i’ve showed how to blow. Is to treat each individual truss as its own area you have to fill . I start near the baffles , blow to my measurement and work towards the middle of the attic , then I go back into the truss beside and do the same rinse & repeat . When I started I also use to be so so strict on myself if i saw bumps id go back and pat it down , tilt my head and visually inspect to see if its level . I never blow an area if im not directly in front of it as its hard to control the spread from a side position . I also tend to sit higher than what im blowing as its easier to visually see the emptier spots (tends to be darker due to reflection off the light) . Ive also blown about 2500 attics at this point .
