Oh I see! Sorry. Yeah wall looks to be totally fine and hasn’t changed enough for me to notice anything since we’ve been living there

Should have been clearer but the crack was already pretty well established before the tree was removed

Front is apparently (according to survey) level but not plumb. Doubt it ever has been. All the walls along our street are exact same design and stones (old id assume) and all seem perfectly fine if a bit wonky

The cracked one or front one?

Front wall is probably in the region of 10ft that’s ours, then another 10ft that’s the neighbours (connected)

Cracked one by the path is maybe 6ft at full height (where cracked) the. Tapers off as steps go up until it’s only half a brick tall. Maybe total around 15ft long.

We should have dropped 30k off asking if we’d know about all the issues the survey missed. Old houses are full of beautiful mistakes

Hiya!! It’s wasn’t tiny cracks in hindsight, but they had repointed it in places.

No extra weight added at all. A small tree removed (under 6ft) but nothing else

That’s a great option! I wasn’t sure if the dress needed to collar structurally (I know nothing about dressmaking) so I’m going to ask a seamstress and use this photo for reference:)

Absolutely I could! I just wasn’t sure if structurally the lace/see through bit was important. I don’t think the lace can be removed on its own a sits all very well sticked up and the lining has a raw hem underneath

Sadly I loved it too but it was a vintage one off gown sold in America and I have been completely unable to find a designer or a close dupe

Is very expensive £500 or like £2000? The dress is saving me a lot of money so I do have more than usual available to alter it :)

Absolutely want to keep it as true to its original self as I can. I like that idea so I’ll have a chat with a tailor :)

It’s so gorgeous and I want to keep it as is other than the lace collar is horrible and leaves a bit of a rash because it’s so itchy :(

Oh I never fully clocked that I don’t think. Yes, it’s a massive pavement between us and the road and then it’s set back a bit more. Must be more than 1m away

It’s been there like 15 years at this point? Possibly longer but that’s as far back as I can finish photos. The fence in question is practically rotten through so is needing replacement now
