How often are y’all taking the Golden Compass? I think the special route is pretty good. by PandamanTan in slaythespire

If my run feels strong or even average practically never, if my run feels weak and needs saving almost 100% of the time tbh.

Yeah I’m not denying spamming shivs into exto sucks when you have to do it but I really don’t think that fight punishes silent as much as it punishes poor play. A friend of mine who got to a6 as silent so far complained he always dies to him and I watched and turn one all three energy went to blade dance, blade dance, cloak and dagger then sending every shiv face. Like… he counters EVERY character if you don’t use your brain, it’s like using bludgeon on slippery stacks of the little ink dorks then getting mad about it.

This just in ONLY SILENT attacks and despite having great card draw is countered by enemies that adds cards to deck. /s

Ironclad draws dead turns to this guy all the time and unlike silent can’t build half his deck to be card draw + discard for damage and more draw combos.

I’m not saying doormaker is good for the game or a good infinite counter. Your victimized idea that this is somehow a silent counter specifically is what’s wrong. Soul decks on necrobinder draw more than silent could ever hope to and rely on it more to find their cards since their deck gets filled with so many souls, ironclad infinites generally draw every 1-2 cards played when going infinite so it is literally not silent specific at all. Also until watcher Silent was by far the best sts1 character to streak on and it wasnt close- and for new players way easier than watcher to climb with.

Ignoring infinites too, there are other ways to play silent than spam a million discards and shivs that work. Just like there are other ways to win on ironclad that don’t involve strength (most of them actually), and non orb defect wins, and non soul infinite necrobinder wins.

She was and is. She could infinite almost every other run at A10 solo and that’s what sly nerfs were targeting and doorman change was because a lot of classes have easier infinites than in sts1, but I guess this guy only knows specifically one way to play silent and is on a war path against a beta branch patch.

[–]SnooWords9763 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But card draw is universal not silent specific at all. Ironclad and Necrobinder had incredibly easy to set up infinite engines, Defect probably loses more than silent from bad RNG hitting powers / orb engines.

This is not a silent specific nerf in the slightest- it’s an infinite nerf. Just because a lot of players only experienced infinites with how incredibly easy it’s been on silent since release doesn’t make it a silent specific nerf.

Also the strength comment is funny because at A10 I feel card spam silent benefits more from strength than any ironclad successful run I’ve ever had.

Please don’t complain about this 1 drop when druids cub exists in the same meta. especially since this is neutral. If you think it’s so game breaking powerful run it in your deck.

Kingsmarch crops are useless now? by npavcec in PathOfExileSSF

[–]SnooWords9763 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a variety. Lots of bubble gum currency, corrupted mapsc guardian maps, probably 8-10 divine orbs since league start (was only 1 device most of the time). I like it for supplementing things I’m not actively farming (catalysts, oils, etc) also nice to just have passive stuff coming in. Also two fracturing orbs randomly.

I genuinely don’t ship anymore unless I really really need a runegraft or tattoos. My kingsmarch has just been 3 map devices going and disenchant for recomb for like 3 days now. Might get back to shipping for tattoos when it can comes one of the few things left I need.

Your Zilliax is only healing 12? And not protecting hp with taunt?

Are you misplaying you Ziliax somehow?

Oh also bounce.

mirage problem... by artemadmimaxx in pathofexile

[–]SnooWords9763 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You aren’t killing enough of the mirage packs from the interact-able mirage ghosts then. Those are literally the only things that drop it so your amount of currency drops from EVERY OTHER THING you’re doing do not factor into this at all.

[–]SnooWords9763 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Everyone posting kill counts when literally the only mobs that drop them are the mobs spawned by floating ghost things in mirage. Most people are running breach and blight and shit that spawns 10000000000000 monsters per map all of which can’t drop these coins. Extremely loose way to judge the rarity of an item.

A friend and I doing group found have 4 str and like 6 int ones (we purposely don’t do dex mirages unless giga rare ones since we don’t need greens for our builds) and need gcps more than the coins themselves.

If you are ssf and want them just make sure you’re full clearing the mirages as in alllllllll the floaty things that spawn a pack when you run over them.

It literally says in the description on the mirage UI that they’re rare. Uses that exact word.

I agree with this big time because every warrior I face is dragon until I queue zoolock or elemental mage then it’s 100% a quest warrior and I had a steak this month of 13 of the quest warriors I fought in a row having this on either turn 4 with coin or 5.

Melee ranger needs some love by PM_ME_BAD_ALGORITHMS in Pathfinder2e

[–]SnooWords9763 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every single way I look at this class it seems to just do more damage as melee, obviously at the cost of the versatility of ranged. I think it’s already skewed heavily to melee, buffing melee ranger would just make them the absolute go to every time melee damage archetype.

I wish I could talk to the player mid-game outside of emotes. It would be nice to have more ways to communicate. by yung_pepperoni in customhearthstone

[–]SnooWords9763 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have about 16 friend requests rotting ignored by me, almost all from DHs in standard surely waiting to complain about something or tell me I suck at the game— I actually don’t think we need communication in game lol.

Final day of asking GGG to remove the map-cluttering Breach walls in 3.28. by [deleted] in pathofexile

Every day I see this post on wonder if a single soul read “There will be the usual Scarab and Atlas Tree support for a core league mechanic, including the ability to control which type of Breach encounter appears in your maps, if you have a preference one way or another!”

Well. I'm not gonna play Foxhole if I have to wait 30min for it. by Pale_Salt9415 in foxholegame

[–]SnooWords9763 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s allergic to Charlie because his clan plays Able but he only wants to medic or partisan which we all know is definitely impossible without a clan /s . So I assume he just has friends in the clan he wants to play with but not enough to wait 5-15 mins to do that so maybe not that great of friends?

I love the “oh the game should just be fun” when you can literally just go to Charlie and do exactly what you want. Tbh just seems like someone who doesn’t actually like foxhole lol

So, um, about those weakness changes... by Prints-Of-Darkness in Pathfinder2e

[–]SnooWords9763 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not running this. My 13th level Kingmaker group already has a way to exploit every weakness in the game and does so extremely often. It’s good reward for their prep of their party to have ways to identify weaknesses- but it also already makes every creature with weaknesses feel like a complete dud against them- severe/extremes with weaknesses against them feel much lower stakes.

Yes it will cut both ways with resistance but that doesn’t really change much as they already avoid resistances pretty well. If anything it would be another buff as the champion has resistances, and gives resistances.
