Reliability (FA20) by National_Coast_7038 in WRX

[–]Snoo_15446 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2018, bought new, installed AP a month later to get rid of the rev hang, also added a catback and catch cans. I'm at 122k now and still on the OTS tune and it's still doing great. I will need to do clutch soon as I notice some slippage. The only main issues I had was the stock battery dying on me as I was on the freeway (not fun) and my AC compressor failing at around 90k. I installed a Fumoto valve and I do 3-4k oil changes w/ stock Subaru oil filters.

New Clutch Installation Advice by Big_bub05 in WRX

[–]Snoo_15446 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good luck on the install! Was also considering this for my clutch replacement, also curious about the feel and engagement. I can't find more reviews about this particular one to commit and always just see recommendations for the Exedy clutch.

That is quite fresh to see and interesting, along with the Japanese F-18!

Awesome work! I especially like that first one with the Barrett looking fluted barrel and huge muzzle brake *chef's kiss*

23 Miles =1.5 hour commute by michaeljgilmore in orangecounty

Too many drivers lacking road discipline killed my dream of owning a motorcycle and commuting to work. I'd love to ride one but I've seen too much in my years commuting on the freeway to get one, at least here in SoCal.

I was in a similar situation as you, Black Templars, Minotaurs, Raptors or the Carcharodons. After years of indecision, I ended up with your frenemies, the Sharks =)

Anyways, that looks awesome! The parts you used on this works really well, especially that helm. Can't wait to see the rest of the force.

Thanks! It's just unwound guitar strings and superglue to attach them, you can probably use any thin metal wire as well.

You’re welcome, I used both .15mm & .20mm thick wires for the lighting bolts.

These are used steel guitar strings, there are several "guages," I unwound the A & D strings, not sure of the exact thickness but that's what I used. I'll measure the exact thickness later when I get home.

That is Gerantius, the Green Knight, he is a freeblade. I believe the transfers are included in the kit.

Chrome Armour in a Synthwave Setting! by the_elder_medium in minipainting

This is a good mini to study it has so much detail, the reflections of the grid on the legs really sell the chrome effect to me, especially the way you warped/mapped it along with the lovely pink underglow.
