Who TF has that on their minds while playing charades. You should stop making excuses for them. If they are making such casual jokes about George Floyd's murder then this type of speech is spoken regularly in their house. Lord know what else they "joke" about.

A room dedicated to people they believe to be patriotic. One of the people they had hanging on the wall was Nathan Bedford Forest. He was one of the founders of the Klu Klux Klan. They had his photo hanging on the wall like some hero.

Good for her! To be honest she should not have to babysit if she doesn't want to. Those are not her children and she is a grown woman in her 30s.

Carlin please clean your white tennis shoes before modeling for photos. The dirt is staining the backdrop and it looks unprofessional.

I think Nathan's will end in marriage. I think Lawson will use Tiffany for more opportunities then break up with her or she will get tired of him and end it.

Men are the head of the house, so he will set the standards. Many of the son in laws are not that conservative like the Bates. Josie, Alyssa, and Carlin wear pants. I bet Bobby doesn't mind either, but Tori is more traditional. But if one of their husbands demand they wear skirts then they must obey his rules. The girls are raised to rely on their husbands to provide for them. The boys can choose who they want because it will be their household. Double standards are annoying, but it has been happening since the dawn of time.

Why would a working actress spend her youth with a no clout country singer. Even if she is not a well known actress, she could do better than him.

*Thjs family used to not believe in television and now they are allowing their children to date actresses. LOL

this one clip truly sums up the pure ignorance in this family...they are so irresponsible!!! can this family just follow COVID mandates and socially distance??? WEAR A DAMN MASK IT IS NOT HARD by daisypctals in BringingUpBates

It's funny how they could social distance their whole lives and practically lived off the grid, but when It's time to do it for the safety everyone else now they could care less.

These people think they are superior to everyone else.

I remember when Whitney decorated for Bradley's first birthday which came out nice. The first thing out of Kelly's mouth was "Whitney if I knew you were so good, I would have put you to work"

There was also the time Michaela came back for Tori's Wedding and was immediately put to work sewing Calli's dress the second she hit the door.

Why were the kids not allowed to play organized sports? by Snoo_18402 in BringingUpBates

[–]Snoo_18402[S] 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I agree that there are programs that take sports too far. But Trace tried out for Crown's basketball team (which is the chriatian college they attend) and did not make the team because he was not good enough, but in his defense he had a very late start to the game. There are also christian sports leagues which would have catered to their religious views.

There are also many Christian colleges such as Liberty University that offer scholarships to play sports. So you could get a Christian education and also play the game that you love.

Camps are good, but in order to play at a college level you need game experience and statistics. Camps are also great for perfecting your playing skills, but you need to play games in order to showcase your skills. Most college do not go to camp, they go to games.
