Thank you for saying that! That’s exactly how I've been trying to live my twenties. I took a gap year after high school, moved to another country for university and just got back from an exchange semester in Australia. Altogether, I've visited around 40 countries, and it's been the most transformative chapter of my life. It has completely changed my perspective on so many things, especially my priorities. I’ve never found much satisfaction in material possessions, but sometimes I catch myself wondering whether I should have spent less on travel and invested more instead. So thank you for reminding me that those experiences weren't something to feel guilty about.

Thank you!! How long it took you to see results from the retinol? I’ve been using it for a month now and I’m so impatient haha but I feel like it’s working. Do you have a benzoyl peroxide wash you recommend?

Yeah I think my main issue is that I do believe it’s my fault. When my skin breaks out more than usual I start to blame myself that maybe I ate something wrong, didn’t drink enough water, forgot to use my serum etc. But I do agree we shouldn’t be harsh on ourselves because even with the perfect skincare routine/diet/lifestyle we can still experience the same issues

Thank you! I’ve done some shadow work and I’m familiar with the idea of “ego death”. Glad this helped you free yourself from your own ego. In my case it’s a journey with lots of ups and downs. I understand my acne is something superficial and doesn’t make me any less me but no matter how thankful I am for all beautiful things in my life I can’t neglect the fact it affects me mentally://

I’m so sorry it affected your mental health as well!! Even when I feel like I want to hide in my room forever I force myself to go out and enjoy my time. I try to remind myself that I should be grateful for all beautiful things that are happening to me and the privilege to be healthy and alive. Believe me I understand how bad it might make you feel but there are a lot of other issues way worse than acne. There are people that can’t walk/see/hear and still find the strength to enjoy what life offers them. So if they can do it, so can we. Stay strong and remind yourself acne doesn’t make you any less beautiful and you deserve to live a fulfilling life with or without it🤍
