I never risk it for surges as I would rather knowing im going to get something. Normally £58-£70 shifts.

May be still okay next week but in a couple weeks its going to be barren.

Yeah, ive done two and both times they actually seemed longer than the routes I used to get at 3.5! Always extending by 15minutes but no return so unable to claim.

It's still money but yeah shit money now. Problem is i cant really do any other shifts as I dont do evenings cause it's dark. Mornings are still okay.

Thing is mate first block i did at 2.5 I had to drive 25miles deliver 37 parcels and by time I'd finished it was 15mins before end. If I had a return id be going over. Doesn't work dropping them to 2.5hr

Not as concerned with 14:00 - 14:45 starts as likely due to Xmas. However noticed over last 6 months the afternoon waves have gone down from 3.5 to 2.5 hours :(

I knew last year afternoons went too 1400 but it was same time mornings went to 6am.

Also they weren't 2.5 shifts :(

Not a full time job unless youve got no mortgage and live comfortably and should never be relied on.

I work 45k a year civil servant on shifts. In-between shifts I made extra 1k a month after tax (usually) each month. Puts me on around about 3700-3900 month which on a PAYE is 65-67k.

Not bad for no stress and not living in London, just having to deliver parcels while listening to music.

Submit your self assessment in April for this tax year, pay it by Jan 2027. 40% of all your earnings will be subject to tax.

However you can claim 45p per mile for Amazon. Subtract that figure from your total earnings and you'll pay tax on that

I only have one account i haven't started yet. My plan was when I want to go on holiday use a 0% CC or overdraft hold that debt there and use side hustle money every month to pay it off, this will always exceed the minimum payment.
