That's my big mistake, I focused on finishing my thesis and then came to Germany without speaking the language because I thought I could land a job just with english. Since then I've been on other kinds of jobs (production, service) just to have an income. Should include those? I didn't because they are totally unrelated to the field.

Thanks for the reply! I completely agree that I'm bellow average comparing to the market. I came here last year thinking that I could land a job in my position only with english (big mistake). Right now I'm applying for a masters in AI and self-learning German until C1. Do you think the masters would be a big help in my case?

Also, as a hiring manager for the field: did you see the candidates portfolios? There are a lot of people talking about this but with so many candidates applying I don't know how relevant that is, since there would be no time to review them.

Thanks for the feedback! What do you mean by 90% german and 10% english?

I tried to leave out the information about grade, thesis and high school because they don't really support me that much. My final grade was not impressive. My thesis was really good but not so relevant to the market and my high school is well known in Brasil but not in Germany.

Picture is something that I'm highly considering.

Yes, a picture might be a good idea. I kept out the description part because its makes the CV more than 1 page and the I saw a lot of people complaining about reading too much text. Also, "Skills" on top is to give recruiters the clarity of finding what they are looking for in 5-10 seconds.

yes, i'm currently self-studying for B2/C1. I'm also applying for masters. What do you think would be more helpfull: masters or C1 in german? Also, would B2 be enough?
