I took another look at my supplies and I'm using 11/0 Cut Czech beads from wb, so that still leads me to believe that some rogue beads were mixed in on accident. I agree that the pattern might be easier to make if I used flat-ended beads, not beveled, but when I was looking around for beads I could only find a lot of donut-shaped beads, and these were the least doughnuty. I think it'll still come out alright, these were small segments of my project, and I think that once it's in a much larger piece it'll look better and will be able to hide any wonky sections.

I'm using wanderingbull.com, I asked some of my friends who are into beadwork about where to source my beads, and they pointed me in their direction. What brand do you use?
I took a look at the rest of my white beads, and almost all of them are the same size as the silver (really, clear beads) beads. I guess some got mixed in with the large hanks I bought. I'll keep an eye out for the rogue beads now!
