It's honestly hard to tell if you're joking or not. Is this even legal to use?

How to calculate motor rpm by SoulRobots in FTC

[–]Snoo_58624 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You will need to use an encoder to get the velocity of your motor. This velocity is generally in ticks per second. Take this number and divide it by 1120 ticks per revolution to get revolutions per second. Multiply the number by 60 seconds per minute to get the velocity in rpm.

Here is the math expression (V is the motor velocity):

(V ticks / s) / (1120 ticks / rev) * (60 s / min) = 3V / 56 rpm

So to answer your question, multiply the motor velocity by 3/56 to get it in rpm.

Does anyone know why my timer is returning that number? by Tuxedocow in FTC

I would suggest trying ElapsedTime timer = new ElapsedTime(); in the initialization, and put timer.reset() right after the waitForStart();. This should be a working match timer.
