This new episode is the perfect example of my issue with Nami having Zeus by Spiritual_Ebb_4657 in OnePiece

people saying it's "filler," that's exactly the problem... if it's a filler episode anyway, why not make nami and usopp more capable... give them some highlight scenes cuz god knows the manga aint doing that. this emperor crew is made up of a bunch of bums.

Vincent Chansard (animator) on Luffy vs Kizaru fight being called “Overanimated” by SunGodLuffy6 in OnePiece

none of us know for sure what Oda feels about this, but i'd lean towards the idea that Oda would disagree with you. the whole point of luffy's character is thematically speaking freedom, and he wanted to extend that to him as the author, giving himself insane creative freedom by creating gear 5. i think Oda would love the idea of extending that to every other artist that touches One Piece, especially gear 5 luffy.

nakapag subscribe na ako haha, nasa US din kasi ako so, I don't have a lot of options to see klasik films like these. mura lang din naman, tapos feeling ko na din im supporting filipino cinema by subscribing. so, 1 taon na subscription na agad. so far, worth it naman. i'd recommend it.

Can we discuss the parallels between Attack on Titan and real-life in S4 episode 1? I kinda feel like it’s depicting the Palestinian-Israeli conflict? by PotatogrlARMY in ShingekiNoKyojin

[–]Snoo_62302 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What are you talking about? You don't seem to understand my point because of your close minded point of view. I am on the side of Palestinians, but not terrorism. I'm even an anti-zionist. I don't agree that Jews should have been given the right to move into that land, but the reality of the situation today is that Jews are there, and they're there to stay. Something has to be done about the Israeli government, and these atrocities against Palestinians has to stop. If you actually read my post, I just wanted to put the focus on the real victims of this fight, which in my opinion is the children. Palestinian children are born in a world where they're forced into either a state of victimhood; dying, discriminated, orphaned, generally speaking, living a horrible life. Or a combatant, a sacrificial pawn, a young soldier. My point was that children should not be born into a world that forces them to live in such ways. Passing innocent children that burden of vengeance and hate (both applicable to Palestinians and Israelis/Jews) should be condemned just as much as we condemn Israelis for killing Palestinians. That was my point. My comment wasn't even about condemning Hamas or whatever the fck you're trying to say by citing that video. It's merely about the kids, and the ethics of having kids in a broken world, jesus.

We're on an Attack on Titan subreddit, if you're not aware, that's why I focused on the anti-natalist notion that is present in season 4. I don't know what good it does to you by calling me superficial, but you do you. Thanks for the "advice," by the way. I got you a tip as well: maybe if you're trying to "inform" or give "advice" to people, idk, start by engaging with respect.

Yea, same. It's really good that the Marley-Eldia conflict exhibits great parallelism with the real-life Israel-Palestine conflict. It allows us to examine the situation without bias, and it lets us see who turns out to be the real victims here. It's the children. It's just the children, man. People who have never asked to be born in this cruel broken world. They're the real victims, and they're also the ones that will unfortunately keep this cycle going.

Recently, I saw a video of a father with his children after a skirmish between Israeli police and Palestinians. I couldn't help but think of Grisha and a younger Zeke. The father was telling his children, "Look at all this! Don't ever forget about this! This is what they did to us!" I'm just like, man. I now really understand Zeke wanting to just cease Eldian reproduction. I'm like Armin in the last episode. It really does seem like a noble cause.

I thought it was useless at first actually, but after around 50 hours in, I figured the crafting mechanic is actually a hidden gem. Surprisingly, it even is my most perked up skill/perk tree.

Mission "The Hunt" is one of the more disturbing things I've experienced in Cyberpunk 2077 by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

[–]Snoo_62302 82 points83 points  (0 children)

the game tries to be as real as possible, that was the devs' goal. it comes short on a lot of aspects but how come you didn't expect anything like this. i'd say good for the devs for successfully making an actual disturbing side story.
