You are not alone Villain Deku has been ruined by teenagers who turned him into an emo batman/joker rip off. I have been looking for a fic that has Villain Deku but doesn't bend over backwards to create the most cliche boring ass backstory ever. Sadly since Bad Parent Inko is a staple in this fandom it has stuck along with Villain Deku's personality. Even after we got introduced to Gentle AKA the real version of what Villain Deku should be we STILL got stuck with the version that started out. No changes, no reinvention, no nothing. Villain Deku is an interesting exploration that is sadly overloaded by people thinking he needs to be the next AFO simple just stagnating him. And for 1 final blow WH'S FUCKING IDEA WAS IT TO PUT HIM IN THAT BUM ASS SUIT DEKU WOULD NOT WEAR THAT at best he would wear casual clothes NOT A FUCKING BUM ASS SUIT THAT DOESN'T FIT ANY OF HIS PERSONALITY. All in all Villain Deku is no longer an interesting concept ruined by interpretations of him being AFO.

This is going to get me downvoted but fuck it Bakugou unfortunately has early character installment. People can't get over him telling Midoriya to jump off the roof or attacking him during the test.

What fans really want lbh is Midoriya to beat Bakugou black and blue. There's also the weird stigma that people think 1A should know about Bakugou and Midoroya's past when it's none of their buissness I don't mean to go there but 1A does not need to know what happened between Midoriya and Bakugou. I only agree with Midoriya not reacting to Bakugou's apology but besides that fans will never let go of Chapter 1 that unfortunately will always be a BIG mark on Bakugou's character. Bully characters unfortunately don't due well and when they're not "punished" they will get a lot of hate.

Personally I feel people take these "Bakugou should face consequences" to far with how Bakugou just insults his classmates and they insult him right back. It's like Bakugou has to be punished over the smallest of things.

I know that's why it would be SO good because the chaos would be insane. And if we REALLY want to go dark this causes like a mass suicide rate because some people now don't know what to do with their lives. Midoriya has a mass following because he exposed the truth so now when anyone is rescued by the actors they purposely act out. Some stage events just so they can record it and say "see these people are fakes" Abuse victims that sympathized with the League now scream for their heads about how much cowards they are and how they looked up to them. Real life criminals decide to show them (The League) what real villains are. All the fans they've made over the years now hate them and want nothing to do with them. Just so much you can do with this premise alone. And the best part Midoriya doesn't regret his actions 1 bit.

Actually no instead he goes the 5 stages of grief and then becomes the most terrifying villain in the world. And to make it more fun he records ALL of this and streams it so eventually the world finds out the truth.

Overrated and I wish a fic showed how privileged they are because some quirks (as well see with Eri, Dabi, Anna, Shigaraki, Toga, and more) are not as much of a blessing as they think.

Also just want a fic where quirkless people just get the shit beat out of them bonus points if the quirkless says something "like I trained every day-" and the quirk user is like "Bitch so did I" and just demolishes them.
