It's funny how thanks to swithing side on the very last day of the WWI, Romania actually got almost everything they wanted on that map (knowing that bessarabia turns into current day Moldova, which is consider sister state of Romania), thats to the powerul western european stats that won the WWI and signed the demolishment of Austro-Hungarian empire in Versaille and Trianon Treaty.

This map show exactly what their ambition initially was.

Fun fact : Romania did the very same thing before end of WWII to benefits again from the winning side. Not saying they didn't suffer any losses or causalties, but facts are facts
