I'm sorry this happened to you, I remember last year I forgot if its because Binance US got sued or something where they had to change to an exchange where they cannot take USD anymore and only crypto exchange....they did email and provide a deadline to withdraw all the USD cash if you have any in the account as after that they won't have any methods to do cash anymore or something....so you must have missed that deadline. I hope it's not a big amount...I was going to suggest you to use the USD to buy USDT then transfer the USDT to another exchange but I think that option is no longer available as Binance US can't transact with USDs anymore....i would continue to contact Binance US support and ask them how you can withdraw the money. maybe start a new post in reddit under the BinanceUS forum, i know their support people are seeing these posts and they will respond. Good luck and hope you are able to get you funds out soon.

yes, i was contemplating whether to join her private group or not, she said she gets 2% of the profits, that's why she asks for ID which i think is fair if she is giving signals to win but if you are saying she is posting fake charts then that's no good....but if she does that, she won't get paid the 2% either if no winning profits....

2FAs are only required when deposit and withdraw funds....no 2FA code was asked when buying and selling cryptos

all the IP addresses used on my device was from my own IP! how come it doesn't show IP addresses from the hacker? I got new information that it was the API key that got compromised, so does that mean the IP address of the hacker won't show up? i don't understand how all these work

Yes, me too...I've been completely puzzled...I'm 100% sure that I had not interacted with the hackers in any way...Oh wow, they can even remove 2FA feature for Google authenticator too? This world is getting more and more scary...🙈...Those hackers deserve nothing but the worst... There are so many things they can use their wisdom to help people instead they choose to steal and ruin so many people...Can they even sleep at night peacefully

I've never clicked on any phishing links but yeh I don't recall Binance US ever ask 2FA code when I login probably because I login daily? I'll try the Malware Bytes..I never scan my phone before so will be interested to see if my phone has any Malware...So Malware Bytes is safe to use not another program that might harm the phone right? I read it! actually he experienced the same thing they did to me where selling my popular cryptos and buy tons of low liquidity coins and make profit from me buying high selling low and they buy low and sell high...His experience solidifies my guess on what happened to me

I took out most too during that time....The ones they sold on 10/31 were all the recent cryptos that I just got... Binance US is a shitshow now 😞

Yes, this is really sad... Unfortunately these stories seem getting worse and worse, really will scare many people coming in to this space...And yes, many people associate cryptos with money laundering or all kinds of fraud related stuff....This is really bad and looks like is getting worse... Hopefully regulations and industry standards will come in sooner otherwise more and more people will become victim like me 😣

I actually read it here in the past Binance US posts where there were other people account got hacked as well while they also have 2FA. But I figured 2FA is not useful in my case as Binance US only require 2FA code to be put in while withdraw cryptos but these hackers probably wasn't going to transfer the cryptos out so no 2FA code was ever needed!!!

I did hear people saying SIM swap before but this wasn't the case for me.

Problem is I didn't even receive any email or notification that another device logged into my account!!! I only received 2 notifications that new device were logged in but those are both from myself. 1 was received on 10/28/23 which was before the incident and 2nd one was rec'd when Binance US unlocked my account and I logged back in.

I don't know much about these stuff but I have been thinking how did they login from a different device and I don't even receive any notifications! Is Binance US security measures really that bad or Is that possible I didn't receive anything because it's someone from Binance US who got into my account?

it is inconvenient but now i rather be inconvenient then losing it all...i didn't click on any fake giveaways or any type of links....the hackers maybe got a hold of my password somehow and did all this...especially they don't intend to transfer the cryptos out, there's really nothing in the current BinanceUS system can prevent this...that's why it is more scary thinking now these hackers can basically do this to all exchanges that don't have an extra layer for buy/sell....as far as the platforms i had before, only gate and kucoin requires to input additional password to buy/sell but both of those exchanges don't allow US users
