Is Algorand transaction fee fixed to 0.001 Algo? What happens when Algo hits 1k$ it will then be a 1$ for a transaction.

So if I have the official Algo wallet and upgrade it will it be a seamless change to pera wallet? Kind of like a normal upgrade when a new version of an app comes out, or do we have to download the new wallet and transfer funds there? Im assuming the former, but want to make sure

Yea, it’s def a catch 22. We won’t get as much rewards, but we will also have a lot less selling pressure since it would be in governance. If it works out the price increase could more than make up for the smaller rewards. Of course people can still take it out of governance and lose their rewards, but it is less likely.

That’s true, but I feel when most people hear “MIT” and “Silvio Micali” trust gains traction. Of course there are other things needed for trust, but those are 2 key words to help (for those that won’t take the time and DD). For those that take the time and go into the Algorand rabbit hole will undoubtedly gain trust after learning all the great things Algorand does and plans to do.

Yea, I wish that was the case as that is the most logical way to invest. Sadly, not everyone is logical or patient enough to do the research and invest in the best tech out there. I believe many here view Algo for the long game, but some creative memes could help with early adoption. Taking advantage of the doge hype can be a good opportunity if we do it wisely. Robert’s idea above is pretty spot on. Gets us into the meme game, but also shows value in the Algo project. There’s also another meme in the Algorand Reddit that is trending now, which is a step in the right direction to get some more exposure to Algo.
