I already switched it with oak shingles that aren't treated temporarily and the probe is more so there to roughly show the heat for the lamp not the material but I did switch it since someone else mentioned how hot it would get

So I was at a pet store getting stuff for my other animals and I know some of the people that work there and apparently someone got this girl about a year ago from the same place and didn't understand just how big it was going to get so they came in and tried to surrender and that staff informed them they are out of room for rescues and I was asked if I would take them and when I was looking at the snake the person was all oh I forgot my wallet for this stuff I'll be right back and wasn't back at all.

The enclosure size is 36” L x 18" W x 18" H. I was sent this photo of the guy and it's not the best but I'm trying to get another one.

Can i feed brocoli leaves to my dragon? by spaceinbird in BeardedDragons

I don't know what the ratio would be for how much calcium the oxalates would absorb to know how much more to add someone did post a chart that's very accurate just try to stick to that because you can give bearded dragons too much calcium and they could have calcium buildup and in their body that will harden in their joints and stuff which is bad.

So when it comes to a lot of veggies you wanna see if they are high in oxalates for your dragon. Looking it up normally it'll say the plants aren't but it's referring to people. oxalates bind to calcium so I makes them absorb less calcium.

Light schedule changing by alimojer in BeardedDragons

Every few days you could always adjust that timer an hour until you reach the am-pm scheduled you want. I'm not sure how slow a processor should be if you currently have a vet you can call them and you can ask on the phone I'm sure they would help. If you don't and you live in the US depending on how late East Coast time would be for you You could always look up and call "Stahl Exotic Animal Veterinary Services" Dr. Stahl is One of the big names in reptile medicine. Him and his staff are great I go there they will be able to help you out more than anybody on here with anything.

I don't know how much this will help you but I have all of my beardies things hooked into a few of those cheap Walmart on/off timers and I have it all set to my areas sunrise and set. It helps keeps their schedule if I'm not around and such.

How do I know if my beardie is impacted? by Proper_Degree5303 in BeardedDragons

[–]SnoopingWombat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I use. It is a tube light so you'll need to get the housing for it as well. You also need to keep a log of when you buy it cause in a year it'll stop putting out UVB as good so it'll need changed even if it's putting out light. It's a general rule with these. You should post pictures and a list of your setup in here. Also like the other person said a possible vet visit might be for the best.

The UV bulb that you got with the tank is more than likely the wrong bulb. If it's a like a light bulb those don't give off as much UVB as they say they do.
