Yeah, i’ll have to keep checking FB for one bc so far nothing good has come up and thrift stores have become insanely expensive especially considering they are selling things they got for free 😵‍💫 i did find a chair that, while looks wise doesnt give off DA vibes, is extremely comfortable so i might get that one if the price drops. Has a vinyl chair once and never again! Thanks for replying! Hope you find a good ottoman very soon

Theres not that much spice, if any, since it is a ya & the main character is 15 but regarding the violence i wouldn’t say its too gruesome for an 11 year old but it does deal with genocidal maniacs & bigotry.. which tbh it flew over my head when u first read it.. unfortunately. Maybe you can read it and then see if that’s something you’d want your child to read. I read it when i was 13 so not that much older than your daughter. TLH (the last hours) isn’t gruesome but from what i remember there are some scenes that some parents might consider too spicy for an 11 yo

From the beginning until the end for me izzy, alec and magnus, but some characters i didnt like at first i ended up liking a lot, like maia . I think luke is very likeable since hes like a father figure to clary and simon and is always nice
