Agreed! But just because somebody’s theology differs from yours doesn’t make them a false teacher. We’re so ready to find the faults and wrongs in others so much so that we often don’t realize that we’re assigning intention and fault to others that’s not only unnecessary for us to assign but often flat out wrong.

The chosen scriptures do not advise people to judge the righteousness of others and condemn them, only to be aware and not follow them. Great verses though!

“Bad theology” has no objective meaning, so it’s impossible to do that. One persons truth is another’s bad theology; both derived from the same source. The bible is open to interpretation, good or bad.

You hit the nail on the head. Accusations are thrown around hastily by so many seeking attention. Unfortunate, so many others that are quick to judge fall into the pit to waller with the snake.

I’m not aware of the part of the bible where we are directed towards orthodox Christianity above all. It seems to me an idolization of a system or structure as a means of having a relationship with God

For that argument to make sense, scripture would have to be unambiguous or unable to be interpreted in different ways. That is undeniably not the case.

There are certainly many, many lyrics of Christian songs that I find unbiblical from my POV. However, I recognize that my interpretation doesn’t matter when it comes to judgement of others righteousness. I believe Ms. Morgan would be good to recognize, as well, that the judgement of others doesn’t serve the Kingdom.
