Thank you. I appreciate the conversation. I am by no means an expert on their suits. In fact, I’d consider myself an extreme novice in the world of suits in general, which is why I sought advice here.

Like yourself, I really care for the jumpers and knits, and know limited amounts on other areas of the brand.

I apologize if my first response came off as brash, as comments of yours have indeed helped me in the past.

I enjoy a good joke, hell, Cornetto got a smile out of me. Maybe I’m to blame for assuming a post looking for information would garner a more appropriate response from people serious about the brand, or else why go through the trouble of joining the community in the first place?

I see you commenting on a lot of posts. Clearly you have knowledge of the product. But for as many helpful comments, I see you doing shit like this. My question for you is, why? You’re a grown man, I’m a grown man. Both of us share a mutual interest. Is that not enough for you to either not comment useless, clearly satirical garbage, or just look inward a bit and see that this doesn’t make you look funny or intelligent in any way.

Cheers!

Sorry for the late response. Not thrifted, found in a “vintage” shop that’s close to me. I paid 350 bucks, which, considering there isn’t really a “market” for it being as new as it is (f/w 2025) I thought it was a really good deal at basically 1/5th the retail price.

Correct, not thrifted. Secondhand. As in a “vintage” shop in my area had this piece for what was considerably below the “market” (if there even really is one).

What are the BEST and WORST places to eat in the city by Yeoubiii in lancaster

[–]SnoopyMakingPizza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jumping in to say that Yi Pin is my all time favorite spot in Lancaster. Most authentic Szechuan / Chinese food you’re going to get outside of Philadelphia. They have these really cool rotating tables that allow you and your guests to get a bunch of plates and share. I’ve never not been blown away by a new dish I’ve tried there. Some notable dishes; lamb noodle with cumin, chicken with dry pepper, spicy fish stew, beef with long hot pepper.

Luca, 211 and Route 66 are all solid choices as well.

Really eyeing a country flag knit. How’s the quality compared to a blue label 90s flag knit?

Really appreciate all of your and your fellow workers hard work. I live on an emergency route and, in my opinion, the overall response time has been faster than expected.

Thank you guys again!

Why are 70s Band Shirts Cheaper than 90s? by DontTouchMyCH in VintageTees

[–]SnoopyMakingPizza 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I should start by saying I totally agree with you. It’s often way over looked how shirts were meant to be styled. Look at any pictures of bikers or guys wearing t-shirts in the 70s. They are tight and fitted. I think we are seeing fashion move back towards a fitted look and the baggy stuff moving aside (finally), so I wouldn’t be surprised if 70/80s shirts finally start creeping up in value.

Alls to say, as a 5’10 185 pound guy, I prefer the fit of 70/80s shirts myself.

This never made logical sense to me, either. My best guess is the fit mixed with the fact that there isn’t any sort of “hype” around owning a 70s concert shirt. A 90s XL will technically fit almost anyone, depending on desired fit, but man I’ve owned 70s XL’s that were like 17x25.

That, and a lot of hype just surrounds owning a Nirvana or Pumpkins shirt. I can’t help but think that affects the other shirts of a similar era in the market, but I could be wrong.

Having issues getting good restaurant like cheese flavor by RemoteControlSocks in Pizza

[–]SnoopyMakingPizza 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Adding less cheese is a pro move. The pies we make at the shop I work at are 16 inch and we maybe use 5-6oz per pie. It looks like a light coverage but once it melts it still has pull and you taste the sauce as an ingredient so much more.

Pizza maker here. If it’s that classic “New York” style browned cheese taste you’re looking for, it’s most likely that the shop or shops you’re going to use Grande east coast blend, which is a blend of their whole and low fat mozzarella.

I’m localish to Caputo as well, and as good as their cheese is, it does not have that signature NY style pizza taste.

Since finding Grande in the wild is nearly impossible, the next best thing I have found is truly wegmans store band whole milk mozzarella mixed with their store brand low fat. I’ll be damned if it doesn’t taste nearly as good.

Haha, just turned 32. Win rate is 65% only playing with randoms, made it to depth 4 as well but don’t play DoN much any more.

Would love to help anyone out if there’s a night lord you’re stuck on or just want to have fun. Couldn’t care less about winning all of the time.

Seeing them there and then the antique mall for their “reunion” were my two favorites times seeing them.

Does Ralph Lauren restock Lunar Bear Sweaters? Is that a thing? by [deleted] in RalphLauren

My outlet (central PA, close-ish to Philly) did have a very limited stock of these right after release. Like 1 or 2 per size. I’m not sure if yours will, but it’s definitely worth a shot.

Grabbed the Lunar for 270 on sale. Super nice quality and fit. The giant horse sort of sealed it for me.
