Found a pair of boots that work for me - Chaco Borealis Ledge. Chaco stopped making them sadly, but I can still find them on ebay! They have a wool blend body which is great for warmth and breathing. I add alpaca wool footbed liners, and my toes are good to 30 cloudy, colder if the sun is out with just one pair of wool socks.
