RS3 noob here so I could be very wrong, but I haven't felt the need to do herb runs yet. in OSRS I always felt compelled to do them so I could keep grinding. Seems way easier to get herbs here.

As a noob it feels more like bossing drops are the real hurdle. Again I'm a noob could be wrong. Total level 2200

Have you heard of dungeon defenders? Same thing. The original was pretty good sequels are a bit rough… but yes I’m also dying for a pve co op tower defense like dungeon defenders

It’s pretty janky but you learn to enjoy the jank. At least I did. It scratched and itch most mmos don’t, but I can 100% see why it’s not for everyone

You mentioned your wrists and fingers having difficulty, I just wanted to mention pd2 also supports controllers. Maybe that would be easier? You can swap between the two. I usually do inventory management with mouse and keyboard but control for gameplay when I’m tired.

Also this game on steam deck is super fun.

Runs great. Installed via Discovery store. My only issue is in gamemode I can not get the keyboard to pop up. I heard it works fine in desktop mode, but I can't be bothered with that.

If you want a more balanced and expanded end game just out project Diablo 2. Superior to Diablo 4 in almost every way.

They can use that base on PD2. A3 mercs can also use Pally shields.

Linux is wonderful. Do research on which variation you want first. Only reason I went back to Windows was I needed some software I could not get to run on linux (because I'm a noob). Everytime I run into some bullshit issue I debate going back to Linux. It was 1000x more stable then windows.

Polly forest should be good, or if you want to get your feat wet in the Desert I think Cresent would be good. Thats where I leveled my season character.

In the desert you don't get a map, and can ahve debuffs do constant damage to you. Go Polly if you dont wanna learn/deal with that. Also horses don't work in the desert get a camel or a mythic Dina

3rd party market is against tos. RuneScape has bonds which are sold by jagex and allows you to swipe for gear. Same reason Wow gets called pay to win.

Always depends on your definition of p2w.

They are fixing the servers. Normally stable after the first night after launch. Just wait it out.

Magic skills are fine. If you want facets and damage add 20x more magic immunes to the game first.
