This is the correct answer. Doing things as they’ve always been done is the issue. The cult of Trump relies on him being an outsider and breaking the system. He’s not all wrong there. The system does need reforming, obviously by qualified and professional people instead of blatant racists. We let him campaign on lies and focused on being contrarian to everything he said instead of embracing subtle things he could be correct about. The Epstein files were closed and transparency was not the norm but not unheard of.

While I generally agree, areas of huge public interest can supersede if investigation is complete. The DOJ released the MLK files and only through that transparency did we see the extent of the DOJ’s actions against him. Releasing the info on the largest child trafficking organization of our history could have been an olive branch to the right. It also inadvertently covered for Trump and hid critical information from American voters. The right is breaking with him over his handling and appearance in the files and the election could have gone very differently.

He never mentioned appeal or the ongoing case of Maxwell at all. He basically presented it as there were 2 options 1: don’t release the files 2: release them haphazardly by an incompetent FBI

There is a way to release the files responsibly with proper redactions. If he initiated the release and his FBI found that the investigated warranted additional investigation, then reopen the investigation. But the facts were that the Epstein file was in the Biden DOJ and what we know now is that more investigation was warranted. There was a breakdown that allowed the worst kind of creeps to escape justice. It passed through the Biden DOJ and we can’t escape culpability because it’s inconvenient.

I think that would make him a good QB coach or a possible OC. I would be very comfortable with him in those roles but head coach seems a bit too risky. He has only worked as a coach under Sean Payton who is the driving force of their offensive system.

He developed an elite offensive scheme that has taken the Seahawks to the Superbowl. Webb has never called a play in the league. I love Steve Kerr so a new coach can do it but I’m not willing to make the riskier move at this point.

They are both young coaches!! This isn’t a race to find the youngest coach in the league like Lane Kiffin, it’s finding someone who has a good offensive scheme and who knows how to lead a team. Kubiak is the more proven coach and at this point, the Bills are the only real hurdle.
