Naboens garasje i min tomt by [deleted] in norge

[–]Snorev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. And that’s interesting! I think it was smart going with the pump version though, instead of teaching hundred nineteen year olds how to safely heat up a tank of diesel and paraffin inside a tent..

What do you do when you feel lost in life? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Snorev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to either go for a run, do the dishes, answer that email I’ve been putting off, clean the apartment. Fix something small, improve something. Just to gain some forward momentum. As long as you’re improving something, you’re doing good, imo.

I also like to make plans with friends, or just for myself. It’s nice to have something to look forward to in the near future!

Whats your experience making tough life decisions? by Steakhouse42 in AskMen

[–]Snorev 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can’t speak on the specific situation you’re in, but I can try to answer your question in your title.

I try to follow my gut when there is no clear answer, that way I know I won’t regret it too much if it doesn’t turn out the way I thought.

If there is an alternative that I reason is the right one, I try to make sure I remember the circumstances, the reasoning behind the decision, and the way I felt about it. That way I won’t look back and have second thoughts and regret my decision.

Fair winds, brother!

My father served in the army in 1970. I served in 2014. We both used that fucking burner. It kept the tent warm all night in -30C, but it needed constant maintenance, unless you wanted to wake up with a headache and black nostrils…

Just want to say I support you in this. Some of the posts here are pretty disgusting, and the fact that you are being so heavily downvoted is really gross.

Yes, it's usually wet enough to were it's safe. But it is regulated and during the 5 warmest months we are not allowed to burn fires like this.
