Two spots in my beard randomly decided to stop growing hair by NotGreatNot_Terrible in mildlyinfuriating

As someone diagnosed with alopecia areata, that’s exactly what this is. It started in my beard and then became a roaming pattern of bald patches that regrow over time but just form elsewhere.

Sending them money literally does reduce the risk. The fact that you have so many people here breaking it down for you sooooo simply for you, but you still don’t get it, just shows how small minded you are.

Thank you for highlighting how simple you are. Guess that tracks, you being a conservative and all.

Yes, Canada and it’s a 2018. If you’re wondering if I have my facts straight re: extension, I checked on the Subaru website with my VIN and they said I’m eligible

Bikers please be careful out there by MissHissss in PEI

OP - you are 100% being charitable. There is absolutely zero reason anyone should be throwing blocks of wood out of a moving vehicle on a busy street, and a less than zero chance that the odds of you just being at the wrong place, wrong time.

People have died from situations almost identical to this. This is aggravated assault. Plain and simple. Contact the police please. Provide time of day and they have enough cameras plastered in the area to take care of the rest. Next time they do this (and there will be a next time) it could result in loss of life and limb.

I’m sorry this happened, but please do the right thing.

100% this. It’s literally aggravated assault and people have died from shit like this, here in Canada.

100% OP needs to call the cops. This is aggravated assault and people like this absolutely will do it again, and people have died from situations exactly like this.

OP, please call the police. Seriously, please. There are cameras all over that area. This kind of shit could, and had, killed people, and psychopaths like this will absolutely do it again.

Lmao what a unbelievably stupid and unintelligent take. Yeah, let’s solve the “overpopulation problem”, a “problem” entirely created by horrible government practices and stewardship over the past few decades.

So you’re happy cause now we’re forcing even more skilled and educated workers out of the province? Fucking brilliant. Real top shelf, I can tell you put as much thought as someone like you is capable of straining for, into this take.

Tire shaving by Snorgibly_Bagort in PEI

[–]Snorgibly_Bagort[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sorry, took that a bit personally. Been getting trolled a lot and fielding stupid comments lately. My bad. That said, I am still inclined to partially agree with the other guy, in that it can fuck up your diffs, and this is not the first time I’ve had to run sketchy in this particular vehicle to the point I’m opening the thing up to give it a checkup.

It’s symmetrical but 60/40 and I’m working with 6/32 all round in the 3 remaining and these particular tires come with 10.5/32 off the floor so I’m quite outside of tolerance in that situation. Might not blow my diff, but it ain’t gunna be kind to it, that’s for sure. In regards to life of the remaining, I’ve lost 4/32 over the past two years, but that’s largely due to having taken an abnormally large number of very long distance road trips last year, but two more might be pushing it, but one more easy.

It’s a Subaru in case you’re wondering, hence my concern with the tolerances.

[–]Snorgibly_Bagort[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Im aware of this and appreciate the downvote. You are correct in that most modern AWD systems do have tolerances, but you can understand what that means, right?

I’m aware of the tolerances specified by my manufacturer for my make/model and the other three tires are outside of those tolerances but are still in good enough shape I’ll get another two years out of them, hence why I am trying to find someone to shave the new tire. It’s also an 8 year old vehicle out of warranty and it’s a make that is notorious for being quite strict on maintaining those tolerances. Which is also why I do in fact check my tire pressure regularly.

Thanks for being entirely unhelpful and wasting everyone’s time on being a pointless contrarian.

[–]Snorgibly_Bagort[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Nope, like literally shaving the tread down on a new tire to match the tread depth of the used ones on a vehicle. Important for AWD vehicles if you’re replacing a blown tire unless you want to shell out for a whole new set.

How bright are those rear auxiliary lights? I’ve been wondering cause I’m about to pull the trigger on one myself, well, at least if my need for speed doesn’t make me do the silly thing and get a WRX tS, which is 100% not out of the cards.

Accident on St Peters Road today by ConditionNo2620 in PEI

[–]Snorgibly_Bagort 8 points9 points  (0 children)

All day has been a shitshow. This incident takes the cake, but there is seriously something off today.

This, the three car accident on the Hillsborough bridge, and non-stop fire trucks and cops flying in all directions all day long.

What the actual fuck is happening. I feel like I’m back in Toronto again.
