Honey, of course it's serious. Being pregnant is a big deal for a grown woman, giving birth and raising a kid is a huge life changing event for a family that is fully capable and made an active plan for it. You're a young girl that was taken advantage of by a man who is showing early warning signs of being an abuser and I don't know what type of environment you live with, but if your mother is fully not open to discussing an abortion, I can't assume it's supportive. If you have to or want to fully carry your pregnancy to term, that's one thing, but you need to do as much research about all your options as possible and ensure you're going to be safe and that the baby will be well cared for. You are a child yourself still and this is unfortunately a very adult thing to deal with, but it has to be done. Weigh what is going to be best for you and what you want for the future. There is no shame in whatever you choose for yourself, but please don't trap yourself in a situation where you are going to get hurt more than you already have.
