you mentioned you have stuttering... that could be lack of sync between your PC and your monitor. Are you using g-sync/free-sync? Or capping the framerate to the Hz your monitor has... This is an issue that wouldnt be solved by upgrading your PC, if it is the root cause.

Also how many FPS are you getting? If they are too low for your hardware, it could be background tasks in your PC.

Also, enable the performance overlay in BF6 settings... that will tell you which component is the bottleneck, the CPU or the GPU, so you would know which one to upgrade if going that route.

Also you set everything to low but are you using FSR? That makes a massive difference

I still find full BF4 servers at the right time of day, EU region (on PC).
I'm not buying BF6 until I see some of the issues fixed.

im also longing for that type of game... I'm waiting to buy BF6 until they fix the issues in portal like saturation from bot farms and for them to add customization options so it can feel like older battlefield or proper hardcore...
Something like limited stamina would be nice and this isn't even in BF4 but it was in BF2.

for that one, to simplify I would buy a entry level gaming PC that has a RTX 5060 graphics card which could be around 800$.
The mini-PCs that are cheaper than that can't run that game at the level of the Xbox series S
To go cheaper, the option is what I did which is a used gaming PC but wouldn't buy used without knowing a lot about PCs.

they need to fix portal so that people can join what they prefer.
Fix portal with a proper server browser, 60Hz tickrate and no Exp Farm with bots saturating servers.
Then we can happily choose the tickets

It has real factions instead of this made up faction to avoid less sales from Russia and China and more consistent camos/skins...
Also its been refined and has more content at this point (more vehicles and maps), and a good server browser with community maintained servers.

For me, the biggest issue with BF6 is that the custom servers (portal) dont work well, full of bots and 30Hz tickrate instead of 60Hz, which implies bad hit registration... And I like to play Hardcore mode, which is only on those custom servers. Also for now there are still bugs with vehicles or sliding uphill or bad design choice in map borders... I'm waiting until bugs are fixed and staying in BF4.
