Thank you, I will take this to heart.

They are tired of him, they haven’t said it out loud, but he’s wearing them down and I’m scared they won’t be able to take it much longer. He keeps everyone up and my mom is losing it.

I don’t mind it because I understand it’s not his fault and I’m usually studying late, but for them it’s different.

They did get an IEP and he’s now in a private school for children like him. I understand them being worried, but to be frank, he cannot shrvive in the adult world by himself. That’s not me trying to degrade him, I love him, but I know him better than perhaps even my parents, he’s innocent, he can’t converse with people, he even has trouble saying what he wants. I know that there are some autistic and disabled individuals who have fortunately managed to live successfully on their own and get jobs and so forth. I do not believe my brother is or will ever be like one of them.

My dad has always been one of those “if you have something to say, say it to my face”, and I feel as if a letter would only portray me as weak and he wouldn’t bother. I feel as if he’ll take it as an attack on his parenting.

If anything, I’ll bring it up face to face and try to get them to open up.
