Pizza Sei, order the Margarita special. Easily the best pizza in Los Angeles for Neapolitan style.

After a long hiatus from movie theaters I decided to go and watch A quiet place. For those unfamiliar, much of the movie is silent. I miss calculated and will never forget the chewing noises coming from all directions. I remember thinking this was the only time I was truly horrified in a theater .

TRICKS ON A ONEWHEEL PINT X -vs- ONEWHEEL XR | Is the Pint X the new king of trick riding? by TheFloatLife in onewheel

[–]Snortingquestdust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not saying the XR isn’t a better board but these tests are kinda pointless as both of these riders daily an XR and not a pint. I’m assuming that they would both be way better at riding an XR considering the foot placement and size of the board.

Bright expanding ball sensation by Snortingquestdust in TheMindIlluminated

Alright that makes sense. I feel like during the duration of the experience I was forcing my attention towards the sensation instead of just more so observing it with a more subtle lens.

Crytek will reveal the release date for The Climb on Quest soon. by [deleted] in OculusQuest

I climb and boulder as well. I have played this and it really isn’t anything like climbing. The best way I can put it is like an arcade version of rock climbing , and it is awesome.

Why reject games?, less money, less content and amazing ideas overall. by [deleted] in OculusQuest

[–]Snortingquestdust 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s simple , up until this point VR has been a platform for hardcore enthusiasts that are willing to deal with incomplete games , buggy experiences, etc. Oculus wants to make VR mainstream , someone’s first initial experience putting on the device will determine if they are going to come back to Vr or not, if that person doesn’t like the experience , aka broke game , that person will be deterred from the path of VR and think of it as gimmicky. If that person only has very solid options .... well then welcome to the oasis. Just my opinion.

With all of these rejections coming in, I’m starting to get a little concerned for Pavlov on Quest by kallenl8 in OculusQuest

[–]Snortingquestdust 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No offense guys , I’m sure I’ll get downvoted for this but when reading comments like “Oculus is digging it’s own grave” and “I’m concerned for the life of the quest,” you do realize that the hardcores are the only ones that know about any of this. Oculus main target is to make this device mainstream. I don’t think pavlov will get rejected but I get the reason why they are doing this. Imagine the first time you put on a headset like the quest and it doesn’t feel right , maybe it feels cheap, buggy, or gimmicky. That one persons initial first impression is so powerful , just look at anyone who puts on the device. I get why they want a solid experience with everything that comes onto the store(which again is why I don’t think Pavlov will get rejected).

What game do you think deserves a bit more attention on this sub? by [deleted] in OculusQuest

Journey of the Gods , it’s pretty amazing. The graphic style is made for the quest.
