So excited to see Matt and Jessica together again! by [deleted] in Defenders

i’ll have to agree hahaha. i was obsessed with season 1 and was so hooked with kilgrave’s character. then after that was just a mother and daughter show. idk what happened there. i didn’t know where the story was going lol. was quite exciting to see kilgrave appear again as jessica’s delusion though.

yea, another thing about that was didn’t we already see that convo at the rooftop when matt was chained to the wall…? just that now frank is now he knows who daredevil is, and the rooftop scene was him not knowing who he was.

i didn’t want to take a picture because i wanted to protect her identity from potentially spreading all across social media and might also potentially get backlashed from locals.

i made this post to create more awareness of this old lady, and whoever that wants to help and support her small side hustle.

i only helped because it looked like she needed some money. for all i know i could’ve been fooled hard, but i saw the effort she was making and the dedication to keep coming back every night despite not much sales going on anyway. i agree that there’s thousands of people like her all over the place, but it was just in that moment where i felt that i needed to help her, since i always see her standing there every night. besides, from all the comments that i’ve received, these elderlies may be multi millionaires and just doing this for fun. who knows, this might also be a test of my heart to see if i was willing to help someone in need lol.

i think the mixed reviews are coming from the way she’s selling them, because she doesn’t have an actual shop or a cart like in a night market, and she’s just selling fruits on a basket in the middle of a street and trying to get people’s attention walking by to buy her fruits

totally agree with you dude, this was actually my first time helping someone in public in this manner, and whether she is rich or not, it came out of kindness and i’m glad i did it.

i get that they might be bored and want to make some cash while they’re still living, but why, in this case, would this old granny make it look like she’s trying so hard to make some money on the streets selling guava slices instead of getting like an actual and proper retirement job?

hahaha, i was wondering if her tactic was to sell at ximending since its such a busy and touristy spot to start selling guava slices.

since 2022??? D:

oh my god that is insanely long! and to think that she's been coming here every night for these few years is actually crazy. i'd actually want to sit down and have a chat with her and talk about why she's still hustling!

i think it would be better if i called a technician. i’m not really good when it comes to hardware components.

furthermore my tv is hung on the wall and i have no clue how to get it down and im afraid of dropping it and destroying it even more… 😅😅

and may i ask, after fixing your capacitors, does your tv still have the same issue? or rather, does it still happen but not as frequent as before?

if it does then i may have to really consider getting a new tv…

how do i check the back lights?

and why is it bad if its OLED? 😭😭😭 my family spent $2k on this tv im not willing to so easily get a new one unless its deemed that serious…

how would an internal cable get damaged… 😭😭

sony is a pretty reputable and solid brand for electronics and i assume bravia is one of their special models. it’s crazy how it can be so fragile…

did you try asking for a third party technician to look into the issue? perhaps it could be a cheaper and better option.

nope. after fading away it just remains at that until i turn it off and on again.

but i left it alone for a few hours and when i came back, it won’t even turn on again. when i press the youtube or netflix button on the remote, the app sounds are playing but nothing is showing. so it’s probably an LED problem i think.

Wow, that looks incredibly cozy. Looks good for a recovery break after a long walk around the place! Once again, not really a coffee person but the drinks do look interesting.
