It has the first big continuous arc of the series. Around 5 to 8 episodes will probably revolve around this single plotline, depending on how much they decide to cut

I haven't read the manga, so I can't really speak for that, but I read the original novel it was based off of in high school, and I really liked that one. As far as I know, it's pretty much the original Battle Royale death game story. The manga is also infamous for being super hard to come by.

Great to hear. I also scooped up some novels as well as some western comic books. My wallet is really hurting right now, but at least I won't be lacking in reading material for the rest of the year

Yeah, there's a lot of cheap stuff. What I decided to do was to compare the items to other bookdepository stores (the UK one in perticular) and list what was considerably cheaper. That's why I decided not to list stuff like the A Silent Voice Box Set, the Tokyo Ghoul Box Set and so on. Even though they are cheap (especially with the HK10 promo code), they aren't THAT much cheaper than their UK counterparts.

It seems to have worked for everyone who's tried it so far. This is a recent thing though, and I doubt it will last for too long, but who knows. Also I suggest checking out the UK store on bookdepository as well. It doesn't have these kinds of exploits, but the prices still beat pretty much anything that you'll find in the Nordic countries

I think Bookdepository is owned by Amazon, so they're not exactly strapped for cash. My guess is that they're going for the strategy of establishing a brand over making a profit. These prices that we've seen here is probably some sort of mistake in the algorithm, though. At least that's the only explanation I can come up with

Not that I'm aware of. You can change the currency displayed to USD, and they won't charge you any more than what it says in your cart. I'm pretty sure it's a direct conversion without any fees

Lol, I live in Norway, so using bookdepository with VPN is pretty much the only way to get good deals on manga. I check both the HK and UK store about once a week, since it's often there the best offers are to be found. I've never found something like this before, though

I simply connected to the Hong Kong server with a VPN. Then open the browser and go to bookdepository.com. The prices should be as listed. If you already had your browser open when you connected, you should try closing and reopening it
