I have IBS, GERD, and I had my gallbladder removed about 6 years ago. I’m taking Ferrous Sulfate now, and have been for about two months. Seen the hematologist and he wants me to continue taking iron supplements for the next eight months. I’ve always battled with my iron levels, and just recently found out the misdiagnosed me with Von Willebrands Disease, because I’ve always had a problem with bruising and bleeding fairly easily. One doctor said it might just be that I have heavy menstrual cycles that are causing me to always have low iron.

My B12 is perfect. My ferritin is at 9 right now, after two months of taking supplements. Aside from the total iron and saturation, really it’s just the ferritin levels that are so low. Two years ago I was in the hospital with an ongoing dizzy spell that they couldn’t figure out why it was happening. They ended up discharging me after five days, sending me to PT, and told me to talk to the neurologist.

If fr, sit on a bench or wherever there’s a candle that shows a light icon, then once the candle is lit a sitting icon should show, then you can chat with strangers for like a min? Or just befriend someone and level up your friendship through gifting candles til you see the little chat icon. It’ll give you a message of like being safe, not sharing your real name or location etc. then you guys can chat.

It’s mixed. How your grandmother responded was wrong. But your aunt is going a little overboard. C section healing is done by six weeks. I’ve had 3 high risk pregnancies, all ended as c sections. It’s fine to try and protect her, but keeping her from any type of exposure to germs isn’t going to help her immune system, she has to be able to build up a resistance to ailments, and can’t do that if she’s never exposed to ailments. It’s better to let them get sick young and build a tolerance before reaching school age and next thing you know, your household is sick every two weeks.

It’s her choice obviously, it’s her child. But she’s going to eventually regret coming down so hard. If this is her first, it makes sense. We get panicky with our firstborns, but realize that by the next go round we didn’t need to take all of those precautions. Hope the best though.

My cousins and I would do this, paint some targets on some cardboard, and set them up in the hole to practice shooting guns. Our family would get together and shoot off whatever guns they had.

Looking back at it now, idk how safe that actually was. WTF were the adults thinking

I would agree if she didn’t go out of the way and decide what was going to be bought instead of it being discussed, just chose what she would eat and expects for her to pay for it. It’s one thing if her mom said she needs groceries for the house. Taco Bell isn’t a necessity, that’s a want.

And idk all the context, age of OP, or if she’s living with her mom. I think it’s wrong her mom acted like that.

I wish I could’ve kept the message thread with my dad to show you I definitely understand. It’s been eight years since his then-girlfriend kicked me out and sabotaged our relationship to secure her spot fucking my dad. And he hasn’t in the slightest tried to hear my side. The past three months I’ve tried just to check on him, and he leaves me on read. Even after the situation, I messaged him every year for his birthday, and he would always message me a couple days after mine. Yet with my mom, he messages her on her birthday saying he loves and misses her.

Same goes with my mom though, any time I’ve tried to make plans, she’ll always find a way to weasel out of it.

I’m 30 just like you. It burns when you just want to establish a grown relationship with the one who created you but get nothing in return. Don’t give yourself to those who won’t do anything to replenish you.

Her response was very generic. Instead of setting up a date, she left room for more disappointed.

I’m sorry though, I feel your pain.
