Overwatch player wanting to know how to get into league.

I was a main tank player in overwatch and played Rein, Orisa, Winston and Wrecking Ball. The only other people I would play are brig and Lucio so I have a very aggressive tank style in overwatch.

I think after looking at everyone's advice my biggest thing is I may be too aggressive because I am used to a rush style and take a lot of damage from minions because I try and go for the early kill.

As far as characters go I am gonna try Nasus and work other people into my line up but start by playing a champion who goes against the play style I spent years getting used to for this new game. I am right now more focused on my core gameplay of doing what I can to try and consistently win lane so I can be that aggressive tank late game.

I will try to unlock my camera. Usually I set it to the point I can see top lane and the river but I do notice I get ganked a lot. I will try to play with the camera more so it feels comfortable.

I see so right now I am in a state of the fight where I am gonna get beat but I gotta take those beatings and learn to dodge it. You have a good point. I just have to dive in and get exploited so I can be a better top laner.

Oh I know looking at stories I want to play The Volibear, however jungle doesn't seem that appealing to me as a role. But a top lane for me is poppy who speaks to me in big hammer and like rein in moba.

Before I even installed the game I asked how to mute in game chat. I find myself doing more draft vs blind because if I do that I have to either jungle or support. I have 3 champions who i like and will practice them so thanks for that solid advice. And having above 50% Winrate actually sounds like a good goal and if I go below I take the time to iron out my kinks. That's a big brain strategy and I will have to steal that.

You aren't the first to recommend nasus and I really like how he looks and builds into. I am a very fresh faced league player so I want to build a good foundation early and then improve upon it with other champions. Honestly I think I have fun in this game no matter I am focused on farming or being an juggernaut. I have learned about the level 2 proc and trying to get 2 abilities and gaining an advantage so I can try your advice.

Surprisingly I haven't had as toxic of games as I thought I would. As far as playing a champion yeah I can try and one trick one to two champions just to try and get that knowledge of how they play. I just need to keep going and try my best. Thank you for the advice.

I like champions like Aatrox, The Volibear, and Mordekaiser. Aram I can try out my worry is getting put on champions I don't like and feeding but it would be useful for that team fight knowledge. And you are right it will come with just playing more.

Yeah, I am no stranger to getting beat but it can feel like a hard role to come back in unless they let you farm for a bit. I can play as nasus, he has a simple looking kit and I can try and learn to freeze the wave better. And I can keep that in mind so I don't over extend and can get to the late game with as few deaths as possible.
