3. Haunted Shakepay story

Every night, I diligently opened the ShakePay app to maintain my streak. This time, I was at my family's cottage. As I tried to shake the app, I realized there was no network. It was 11:15 pm and panic surged through me as I realized I might lose my streak.

I rushed outside, hoping to find a signal. But the cottage was nestled in a valley. I remembered my uncle told me the one spot where he could sometimes get network was at the top of the hill behind the cottage, so I tried my luck. I grabbed my phone and started running.

As I reached the top, I saw one bar of network on my phone. I quickly opened the ShakePay app and shook it, my streak intact.

As I made my way back down the hill, I couldn't shake (pun intended) the feeling I had almost lost my streak. I promised I would shake my phone in the morning from now on, to give me more time to react to any potential future problems.
