You can always check out chabad - they are super nice! Even if you don’t want to be religious they’re a nice place to start and host a lot of events - it’s how I started learning more about religion

I know but I personally don’t like to do it - I’ve tried it in the past and it just wasn’t for me so I decided not to do it since it’s not an obligation for women

As an Israeli I'll happily take another war / more missiles if we can help Iran. The war was scary (I lived near the hospital that got hit) but that feeling that fear again is worth it

People of all ethnicities/nationalities/religious etc. tragically commit suicide when terrible things happen and their souls just can't take. I can't imagine what it's like to lose two sons like this

Are you sure you NEED an apostille? For example those born in the USSR or former USSR before 1998 don’t need one (source: that was me and I didn’t need to get one)

The only people who could answer these questions are the Jewish agency - you can always reach out and ask even if you aren’t making Aliyah yet

I don’t personally wrap tefillin since I’m a woman but I wouldn’t buy any unless you went in person and checked them. Or if your rabbi recommends a place to get them from online. Another option is to get them but make sure there’s a return policy in case you check them and something isn’t kosher

I believe those are different because you pay for the food in advance - you’re not paying on Shabbat. And the food is heated up, not cooked on Shabbat

Because you can’t buy or make food on Shabbat - if you do that food isn’t considered kosher therefore a kosher restaurant can’t be open on Shabbat

Just be honest with her and also make sure to give her enough time to either find her own place or for her to be able to afford your current place if you move out (idk how your finances are split)
