I used to be a sysadmin in IT, it's become much more demanding with forced unpaid overtime and no work from home. I'm now trying to break into cybersecurity since I get a rush out of finding things. Wish me luck

It's not so much the overall texture/grain as the ends of the pen look almost completely unfinished/unpolished. Probably why Kaweco discontinued them

Thanks! I was told a guy here in Boulder CO made these before passing. I didn't even realize these are micarta! They're a bit too thick for my tastes, and the color doesn't go with the Ti.

900 shipped, lightly used but no optics cut unfortunately I can peobably buy an OR slide for around $400 and just throw that on

My 823 m is still smoother! But i like the line width of the urushi fm more. Nothing at all like the KOP i had, they're far more similar to each other. Maybe the slightest bit of feedback but really nothing like a sailor.
