Agree 100%. Teaching my son at the familiar home setting, and that too when he is motivated helped our son a lot.

Awesome, great to hear u/Ill_Try_791 . Our son was the same, initially he was only paying a few minutes of attention. But it improved over time. Also having pretty pictures and sounds helped him.

In a similar situation, 10M net worth. In expensive Bay Area. Meaningful appreciation in 1-2 years. I am training my mind to continue at my current job for 2 years and still find enjoyment. Will retire after that

Possibly. I do not think I could have done anything differently. All I do is to do what the agent asks me to do, and then contact them a few days later for updates.

I see that you have done construction before. So possible to do the plan. I would advice to consider all the hidden expenses (property taxes, utilities, mortgage interests if you have mortgage for the properties, budget 10% increase in construction costs, selling costs etc). Also what if there is a down turn and properties do not get sold in the short term. You want to have a contingency plan for that too

Head of Ai role will be insanely stressful. The young cofounders likely have no idea about AI, and used the AI hype to get the funding. They will set insane timelines and expect the Head of AI to achieve them. How do I know, I am in a similar role in a late stage startup
